Lightbulb Invitation for designing IM logo

Dear Freinds,
This is in reference to IM logo request by members of the trekking portion of our favourite IndiaMike (Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib) so that fellow trekkers identify members when they bump at each other while trekking.

May I pls take the hounor of requesting all IM members to design an IM logo for us so that we can embross the same on T-shirts/ caps?

Thnx for all efforts in advance.

Rgds,
Sandeep

IM T-shirts??? didn't hv any idea about those.

Anyway cap is a better idea than T-shirts for trekkers, as most of the time you put wind-cheater/raincoat over them atleast. Logo on caps will have more visibility. If you have any official T-shirt pls post the snap so that we can manage to pick up the logo from those.

Yep, there were IM T-shirts, mugs, whatever.

We even voted on the text.

Please bear in mind that the site is private, and that the name, design, logos, etc belong to its owner. I'm sure Nadeg doesn't have any problem with us recognising each other, but you really should discuss the matter with him before setting any balls rolling.

I do respect Nadeg & his intellectual rights & doesn't want to break it in any manner what soever. The intention behind this is rightly pointed out by you by the words "recognising each other". At the link posted by me earlier you can find two IM-er were at the same place, same day & time but couldn't recognise each other & missed out an opportunity to bump at each other out of the cyber-world.

I hope Nadeg will surely follow this thread & will wait for that before updating him about this thru PM.

Nick is correct. IndiaMike is a privately held entity, so I am not comfortable with members designing their own logos for the site. As Nick mentioned, there is already an IM store with logos and tshirts avaialable. Are these not to your liking?

Nadreg, I had a quick look for the link to the "shop" and couldn't find it! Wasn't it on the front page?

How about adding caps to the range...

Nadreg,
Sorry to discomfort you. The intrude into the privately held entity was purely unintentional & for only the sake recognizing fellow IM-ers when bychance we bump in some remotest place under the sun. We couldn't find any logos as such. I personally (& confident every members of IM) value the intellectual rights & copyright. As Nick mentioned, it would be lovely to add caps to the shopping part of IM.

I couldn't find the link to view items on offer. Can you be kind enough to provide the link?

First you must meditate, Grasshopper - before you find the hidden door to the IndiaMike store.

OK, it's here:
http://www.cafepress.ca/indiamike
Don't ask me why there's no link on the site itself.

Thnx for the link.

BTW the pricing as well as the delivery is suited for US or Canada. Can we have a better option for floks from India?

I will add some caps soon. I will also add a link to the homepage. I thought I'd done this already, but I must have forgotten.

Does anyone know of an Indian alternative to cafepress.com? I'd prefer to find one which is local to India, which would make shipping within India much cheaper.
