ImageShack alternative? (& 'Clouds')

Hello people.

Is there a similar site to Imageshack, as that website seems to be struggling lately and I need a reliable website.

I need a website that allows me to upload a photo/image from my home PC, then gives me a URL that I can use in a thread to insert the same image into the thread.

(not a link or a thumbnail or anything that needs to be clicked to enlarge, as an image and an explanation on seperate pages doesn't fit my requirements)

Anyone know such a website?

Also, a few months ago I read about storage websites called 'clouds'.

How do these work?

Any recommended 'Clouds' websites?

Clouds is a concept, rather than a site, and is simply something that the computing industry is knocking back and forth.

For various reasons, some forums actually ban IMG links to external sites, insisting that members only post images uploaded to their own site. Team-BHP does this; their Site Announcements forum explains the whys and wherefors.

The moderators here have, for a while, tended to remove IMG links, leaving only a picture-less link. You are better off with IM attachments than that.

Let the current mod team and Nadreg speak on this --- but I think that what you are looking for is not the way to go.

I've just hit report post on this so that the mods can delete the pornagraphic images in my.....

I've just hit report post on this so that the mods can maybe discuss this issue. the 'thumb-nails' on the site I just mentioned are much bigger, and often enough to view without going to the enlargement.
