It's working fine now yes. Funny.
All night my time and until shortly ago just now, I'd get some Windows pop-up box (whilst apparently attempting to load the Hotels page, so superimposed over that, and the page not loading) saying no connection can be established (to http://www.indiamike.com/india-hotels/ ) or it's unavailable or sth. to that effect, then I'd be redirected to a standard blank screen (server unavailable or whatever it says, just the most basic of blank screens one can get really).

Well... you may still be going nuts, Capt... but this wasn't a side effect of that.

I'm reminded of this shirt a friend of mine used to wear:"Work is no excuse to be happy." |

Am I just missing something here or is the hotels section not working right?
I just added a hotel to Munnar and it doesn't show on the list. I've read all this thread and can't see anything regarding how to add a hotel, so I can only assume I did it correctly. |

Have another look. I enabled the hotel. It was stuck in a moderation queue.
Thanks. |

ok, mebbe I can generate some response by piggybacking onto this thread
![]() Still looking for a hotel in either Kovalam or Varkala where I can recover for a few days after my flight from the USA on 1 July. A pool would be nice, but I can always use another hotel's pool, if need be.. And any knowledge about getting there- via taxi, for sure, as I'll be too jetlagged to negotiate bus, train and such- from the Trivandrum airport would be a big plus. Thanx in advance

I put a lot of faith (maybe too much) in the opinions of fellow travelers. While this hotel site seems well laid out and easy to participate in, I'm a bit disappointed by the limited numbers of reviews of hotels. I can only encourage others to share the wealth of experience and take the time to write the occasional review. I'll do the same.

Bruce, so we are we! The hotels section tends to lie forgotten until somebody needs a hotel.
Thanks for your encouragement ![]() |

Well I'll be writing reviews of all the hotels we stayed in (5 in total) so that's a start.
Bijapura: We only stayed at the Leela in Kovalam, which had a pool, but it certainly depends on your price range. I'll write a review for that too, soon. And thanks nadreg ![]() |
