Editing profile photo

I want to edit our profile photo - I've made a newer copy of the same composite, but with a fix in it.

After I delete the current photo, will uploading the new one change the size for me or should I do that first. Currently the new composite photo is 624ks and 933x670 pixels. I know that's larger than allowed. I just don't know whether to shrink it before attemptin to upload and I don't want to delete the working one til I know how to replace it.

sounds like you're on the right course (shrink the new photo before uploading).

Perhaps what you could do is:

>download a copy of your current profile photo back to your location,
>then delete the copy in your profile,
>then try to upload the reduced but corrected profile photo?

if it sticks - your job is done. If not, you can reload the old photo?

Success.
I saved for web in small size the fixed composite.
Then I took a leap of faith and just uploaded the new composite - the old photo, of which I had copies on my computer already, just disappeared and the new one replaced it.

I took my husband's photo at Pushkar mela [obviously] four years ago.

Mine is with Lakshmi, the temple elephant, at Manakula Vinayakar Ganesha Temple in Pondy two years ago.
