Exclamation Cleaning Up the Homepage

Hi All,

I am in the process of putting together a homepage for the Community section of Indiamike.com. One of the things I want to do is to take this opportunity to "cleanup" the current homepage, and eliminate some of the lesser used left and right navigation elements.

So.... please spend a little time, respond to the poll, and add in your two cents on how well YOU think the current homepage works.

User control panel, forum stats, news archive, online users.

Doesn't online users make the buddy list redundant?

hope this helps

"recent posts" and Shoutbox are the links I most use from the front page. Be nice if they were both on the Quick Links menu drop-down so they could be accessed from anywhere on the site.

Otherwise It is nice to see who's online and who's birthday it is.

The photos at the top of the page is nice.

I used to use the "new posts" button all the time - is there any way it can be brought back?
