Hello Mike, Steve, Shimla et al,

Having a wee spot of bother trying to add some images, maps etc to my hotel reviews. When I try to add an image to an existing listing, I often get this message:

Dr Funkenstein, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

However, sometimes it still uploads the image. Other times it doesn't. And then, just to confuse me further, sometimes it says there's a problem with the upload.

The really weird thing is this. If you look at my review of Priya Guesthouse the attached images thingy shows that there should be a map, but doesn't show the map itself. When you go into the 'edit images' screen, it's there but not showing on the main screen.

Am I just being terminally dim here? It's not unfeasible, like.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox, btw, dunno if that makes any difference.

Nope it's the same on MS IE, I think there are still a few wrinkles to be ironed out on the listings section. I remember having a similar problem trying to upload photos to the Hotels section!
better to let Mike or Steven answer this one, they are the real experts here!

Mike is aware of the problem...

He manually uploaded a couple of photographs on some of my listings.

I'm sure he'll get around to fixing it, but I guess he has better things on his mind at the moment!

Yup there are big problems with that section and I am waiting for a newer script to come out so I can migrate to a better system.

Sometimes the images work, sometimes they don't. Usually you can get one to work but more than one causes some problems.

I have fixed the map picture and I am surprised that the upload even went through since it's only supposed to accept jpg images and not 'gifs'.

Hopefully there will be a newer system soon and all will be good. Until that time the bugs will continue unfortunately.
