Hi,

I came to India last week on X visa. Need to register with FRRO within another week.

It seems one can go the local SSP office (in my case Noida) for the foreigners' registration. I'm not able to find the info for this office online. If anyone has info on the location/contact details of this office, can you please let me know ?

Thanks,
Abhishek

Sorry I posted it in the wrong thread, then didn't know how to move it. Hence posted it again in a new thread. It was only two times, not three.

I don't know about being able to register there, but I googled 'ssp office noida' and got this as a first hit:

I checked that site out. They don't have the SSP/SP office number or location.

A couple of threads had people doing their registration in Noida. Anyone remembers the location ? Any experiences ?

FRO office in Sector 14A

Hello,

The FRO office for Noida is in Sector 14A. It is the LIU/FRO office. There is a police station just at the entrance to Sector 14A, under a blue bridge crossing the road, and the office is in there. You have to go down under the other main roads, past this big monument that the road curves around and past a great big ornate hall that is still under construction. Go past the entrance to Sector 15A. I can't really explain it any better because I don't know the name of the road. It is not far from Sector 18, but is still maybe a 15 minute drive from there on an auto

You will need five copies of two forms they will give you at the office. These forms are different to the forms from the Delhi office. Then the originals of the other various forms you will need for whichever visa you have.

The office doesn't open until 10am, and they don't turn up until 10:30, but there probably won't be any queue, or at least no more than a handful of people. The services for foreigners is supposed to stop at 2pm, but if you get there before then, they will deal with you.

They are a lot more helpful than in Delhi. Or maybe that was because I was female

Hope this helps all others looking for this place online.
