Hi,

My passport was issued in Jan 2010. At that time I was unmarried.
I am married now.
Now I am applying for PCC. In PCC form if I fill that I am married, than only marriage certificate is required while visiting PSK or they will ask me to re-issue the passport first and than apply for PCC?

Mohit, one should not lie while applying for passport. There is no binding as such of getting your passport renewed as you are married.

The status of applicant was unmarried when got passport. Now married, so will have to state married in the relevant column of PCC column.

This will not have any effect on the passport. You should submit copy of marriage certificate, if you have one.
