Haiii
i want to apply for passport for my son who is 16 years old, under tatkal scheme
what are the documents required.
i noticed that they have a list of documents and we have to submit atleast 3 of them.
like
ration card, id card, school id, Community certificate etcc
But my doubt is whether community cert should be in my name or my son's name ?
nd also i noticed that an afffidavit is also required.
whether its in my name or his name ??

Is the official site for passport info. Explore the site. All your answers are there.
If your son is 16 years old, he will have some documents of his own, like school leaving certificate (Class 10). The rest can be in your name like ration card with his name mentioned.

No. They dont allow you. You will need to take separate appointment for tatkaal in PSK. If its very urgent, make a visit to PSK, ask the TCS guys if they can help you.

The new link for PSK is: http://passportindia.gov.in
