Yes Narendra, Me and my wife stays in Pune. And my wife went to my inlaws place in final months of her pregnancy. And will be there in Durg for next 2 months.

Now on your valid suggestion of waiting to get passport from Pune. The reason i am trying to get the Passport from Durg is because both mine and my wifes passport are not from Pune. And my wife passport is from Durg address where she is now. So just thought that it will be easier processing for my Daugthers passport if we get it from there(Durg/Raipur).

But if we want our Daughter passport to be processed from Pune itself, do you think below docs will suffice:-

1. My Passport issued for my Hometown Bilaspur, Chattisgarh address without Spouse Name.
2. My Wife's passport issued for my Inlaws address in Durg, Chattisgarh address with my name.
3. Birth Certificate of my Daughter
4. DL/Aadhar Card of mine with our Pune Rented House Adress.
5. Aadhar Card of wife for Pune Rented House Adress.

Add

Infant photo
Marriage certificate
Aadhar alone may not be accepted. Add another document for address, like Bank, Employer letter.

There is no alternative to this problem. You should first postpone the appointment and instead proceed for endorsement of the name on passport.

You should apply for child's passport once the job is done.

The PSK MAY accept a simultaneous application for adding of spouse name and Kids passport. I am saying MAY, though I am not so confident they would as the rule is clear that at least one parent's passport should have spouse name mentioned.

Marriage certificate will be required while getting name endorsed.

One of my colleague wanted to apply simultaneously, but Bhopal PSK refused to accept it. They had to apply under Tatkaal category to get the name endorsed on Husband's passport.

Hello,
Thanks for your valuable feedback...
still someone said..... that if we dont have passport endorsed with spouse name ,the only thing that happens is ,there will be police verification.
is that true?

Normally there is no Police verification for kids. However I have never heard of an application being accepted without Spouse name endorsement.

Please check the info provided as the answer for Query 7 here which says:
Quote:
...

If parent(s) hold a valid passport, but spouse name is not endorsed, then they must get the spouse name added in their passport.

For this, they have to apply for reissue of passport and get the specified change done in personal particulars.

Thus, it is necessary that spouse name should be endorsed on the parent's passport.

Post Infant's passport

Hi,
I am planning to apply passport for my 2 week old son.
1. My passport has my native address issued in Bangalore(No Spouse name)
2. wife's passport has In-laws native address issued in Bangalore(Spouse name endorsed)
3. Child's BC
4. annexure H
5. attested copy of mine and wife's passport
6. Passport size photographs

I would like to know following details
1. Is the child presence mandatory in PSK?
2. Can I add my address as the required address
3. Do both parents required while applying

Few additions:

You will have to submit address proof if the address of residence is different from the addresses mentioned in the passports.

Further, it should be self-attested copy of your wife's and your passport.
