Hello!

Does anybody have any recommendation on where in India is best to celebrate Holi??

I'm in search of adventure and more while in India and have planned to be in North/North East India (Delhi, Hardiwar, Rishikesh, or Varansi). Maybe further south at some point.

I'd like my trip to incorporate this festival as part of my trip.. If you recommend a place I would be open to adjust the schedule to incorporate it.

Thanks! -Stephen

Because everyone says so. It's notorious for being the place for holi.

Look at the pics here. Pretty crazy stuff.

Mathura or Vrindavan certainly seem like an excellent choice!

Amazing pictures! thank you so much!

How can a foreigner get involved? And where would you recommend to stay? Other threads have mentioned there are not many places to stay in Vrindavan..
