I am planning for 9day trip (6July-14July) for Lahaul Spiti with my wife. Below is the raw itinerary I have drafted and seek your valuable suggestions on it.

Day 1: Reach Manali
If I reach Manali in the morning then I will visit nearby places in and around manali else will rest in hotel. Stay at Manali.

Day 02: Rohtang Pass/Chandertal

Morning - rohtang pass and then will head towards Chandertal. WOuld like to know how much time it takes to track down Chandertal? Stay at Batal/Chandertal/Losar.

Day 03: Chandertal->Kunzam Pass->Kaza

Reserving it for Chandertal and then will head towards Kaza. Stay at Kaza.

Day 04: In Kaza

Will cover nearby places in Kaza like Kibber, Ki . Stay at Kaza

Day 05: Kaza - Pin Valley - Tabo

Travel from Kaza to Pin Valley. Visit Kungri monastery at Pin Valley, Tabo monastery. Stay at Tabo.

Day 06: Tabo - Dhankar - Kaza

Travel from Tabo to Dhankar gompa, visit the Lalung Gompa. Continue travel onwards to Kaza. Stay suggestion required.

Day 07: Kaza - Keylong

Visit nearby places. Stay at Keylong.

Day 08: Reach Manali and then board for New Delhi.

Day09 : Buffer.

Kindly also provide your suggestion/feedback:

1) Any alternate itinerary?
2) Places to visit/stay as per itinerary.
3) If taxi for 8/9 days is the only mode through which I can achieve all these destinations keeping in mind I am covering different places one by one. Is there any option for sharing taxis while traversing this way? If yes, would it be convenient and save some bucks ;) ? Any idea on cost for the transport? I estimated 1600-1800 Km travel to and fro.
4) What are do's and don't?
5) Any other suggestion to make my journey smoother.

I was wondering if I could have some help with planning an itinerary and an idea of timescales that would be good to spend in each place. I arrive in delhi on the morning of the 11th Aug and am leaving from delhi on the morning of the 31st.
During this time I am keen to see:
Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and the mountains (particularly Palampur tea fields, and also Shimla and Dharamsala). I also would like to visit Varanasi. I know this seems a lot to fit in and so was wondering if anyone had any advice on which parts to possibly leave out! I think the definite ones for me are Bikaner, Dellhi, Agra, Varanasi, Udaipur and the mountains. Also if anyone had any advice on the best way to travel between locations (particularly for the mountain regions) that would be very much appreciated!
