Hi...
I am married to a Goan and we have a 2 year old daughter. We just moved to Goa /about 2 weeks ago/ and currently we are staying at his parents house. We will stay in Goa for couple of months and see how we can adjust to the life here... We are actually looking for a land to buy so we could build our house..could anyone tell me what is the best way to start? Agencies/ which ones, newspaper, internet-which sites/ thanks.
I also have some other questions..
1. I have a PIO card..can I obtain a driving license/ for scooters and car also/ if yes where ...we are staying close to Navelim/ mandopa/, should I just go to the police station in Navelim..or Margao? Can anyone tell me how long would it take and how much it costs? I have a driving licence already from my country, but I am not an active driver-I'd prefer to take some training lessons also..
2. While staying in Goa I would like to study yoga. I have been practicing yoga for a while now/ but it is just back home with a DVD, no special teacher / I am wondering if anyone of you could suggest a good yoga teacher close to where I stay?
3. As I mentioned we have a 2 year old daughter..I am looking for some activities-parks, playgrounds where she could have some fun...
Thanks everyone.

i'm going to be living in Vagator.
Are there any places to eat for around $2 or less?
Like those restaurants that specialize in vegetarian fried foods etc.?
I have a kitchen with fridge and can also prepare my own meals.
Which is cheaper, eating out or stocking one's kitchen with dahl and rice and spices etc and preparing own meals? I'm on a low budget so simple fare would probably suite me best.

This is a very important question:
How much is the average price of beer in Goa?
Do they sell it in stores as well as in restaurants?
Never been to Goa so excuse my ignorance on this topic.
