want to create a travel web page

Hi guys as i like travelling and would like to create a travel page but i am not from an it background so i have no clus how to start and what to include my brother is willing to help me but wants to know what topics i should include....places visited travelogue,wish list picture gallery,guestcomments,what else?? and how to secure my pages ??...thats all i can think however i guess there might be lots of people who already have travel pages and better ideas....pls help.

How about starting a blog first. Once you are a pro in that, start a website.
