vodafone USB stick roaming charges
vodafone USB stick roaming charges
Does anyone who has a USB stick from Vodafone (i.e. Vodafone mobile broadband) have any experience with roaming charges? I've been using the stick in Maharashtra (its home) for a couple months, and I just arrived in Hyderabad. There is now a message indicating that I am roaming, but no indication of the charges I might be incurring. I'm using one of their "unlimited plans".
I looked on the vodafone site, and it says that roaming on vodafone networks domestically incurs no charges except for a "home tariff". I can't find anything about a "home tariff" anywhere on the website, so I really have no sense what this means...
If they are going to charge me an arm and a leg, it may be worthwhile buying an Andhra based stick, or one with national roaming free, as I expect to be in Andhra alot over the next few months. Problem is... I can't figure out what roaming I might be getting charged!

Unless I have got it completely wrong, most data plans on Data Cards (Not phones) are irrespective of where you are and allow roaming all across. No extra charges should be charged. Dont kno if this is a 3G data card or anything else.

Thanks Narendra - that link is exactly what I've got - I'm on the unlimited plan. Can't find information on roaming charges - it was also my understanding that roaming is free... but then why do they bother telling me I'm roaming?

It may be the automatic configuration in the network that does it. It obviously can't differentiate between a phone and a data only card. I don't believe on vodafone two times I tried for online payment but it was unsuccessful and they have deducted my money also.
Below is my details:
Transaction no .MSBI2718010765
