I don't think you need two pages. Just open the one page. Enter the first letter of your password. Now click outside the text field, and enter some random text. When you've had enough of that, type the next letter of your password. Repeat until you've entered every character. It does seem to be a good and simple solution.

It takes advantage of the fact that the keylogger is likely logging each keystroke received by an application. However, it does not know what the application is doing with those keystrokes. You take advantage of this by sending lots of keystrokes that the application ignores, and hide the few keystrokes that make up the password amongst them. In fact two pages might be a bad idea, especially if you're not using a tabbed browser. On Windows those two pages would be separate processes, and a semi-smart keylogger could separate the keystrokes.

No credit card info in cybercafe

Cybercafe's might be sqatted by smalltime hackers, but they may not know much about how to transfer your foreign currency to their India account even if they got your account access. But if they get their hands on your credit card information then they may be able derive a lot from it so I never ever type any of my credit card info from a cybercafe. Using your own laptop in a hotel or via wifi is safe as your browser's security ensures that no one between you and your bank can read the information transmitted.
