subsidised calling to UK mobile

Hi all,

Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to call the UK (mobile) from India? - current rates are ~Rs 9/min.

I'm open to voip programs like skype etc. Any good calling cards? It would be ideal to have one cell phone option and one computer calling option. Thanks!

Skype's free. I thought that Airtel prepay mobiles were Rs 6.4 per minute?

Haylo, thanks for the reply.

Skype's free only for pc to pc, not pc to phone. i'm not sure about airtel, i have vodafone.

U can try other VOIP services Voipraider being one of them. Cheapest would always be VOIP only.

Try out a Sify i-Way or an e-port as it is now called. They offer the cheapest ISP calling and uses VoIP for the same.
