Specific Insurance for Electrical items

Hello All

I am looking to insure the following:

My olympus camera worth £360
My MP£ player worth £200
My Camcorder worth £350

Does anyonw know of a good insurance company to do this?

I am leaving for my trip in a couple of weeks and am travelling for 5 months before reaching Australia for a year. Is it opssible to insure just for those 5 months even though i will not be returning to tyhe UK straight afterwards?

Cheers, Andy

You should read the fine print of the policy really carefully, I have seen the condition in insurance policys that the insurance should cover the entire trip and that the trip should start and end in the same country. I have no idea why they would have such strange conditions and how would they find out?

I think when I once had a oneway travel from UK to NZ via x, y, z we used downunder insurance, which would have allowed us to be fully insured.

I'm sure if you google them, you should find a website.

cheap insurance

try these guys:
WorldNomads

They are by far the cheapest and most flexible insurance company i have found. You have to pay extra to insure some expensive items, and supply the serial number of the items, but is still seems to work out alot cheaper than the competition.
