sim card in chennai/south india
i will be bringing my unlocked fido phone GSM 1900 to chennai. what sim cards can i purchase to use it there. i will be in taminnadu/kerala for 3 weeks.
which is the best value cards. |

You can try airtel.in, vodafone, Reliance GSM. They have good coverage pan India. Reliance was offering some plans as it is new to Chennai.

the indian phones works on 1800 freuency. my phone is on 1900 frequency. would it work?

No. You need a triband phone. India operates on 900/1800.
