Rent a laptop?

HI, I will be travelling to India in December and will be there for about a month. During that time I will be primarily in Mumbai, but also visiting Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, etc. I don't own a laptop but in doing my research figured it would be a lot more convenient for me to have during the trip. I was wondering if there are places in Mumbai that rent laptops with wireless internet connections, on short term loans and also what I can expect in terms of hardware/software? Also, are there any security issues I should be aware of?

There are a lot of places where they rent out laptops but I am sure it would be cheaper to use one of your own after buying it here. Not too sure about how much it would cost to hire one but it would definitely be cheaper to buy one (than rent it for a month) and take it back home with you!!! All kinds of normally used software would be loaded on it unless you have some specific request which they would also be able to fulfill. Hope this helps.
