Portable Apps

I've been using this for a while now...it's pretty useful even if you are not travelling to India. All you probably need to purchase (if you don't have one already!) is a 1 - 2gb flash / thumb drive, you could even edit your pictures with the portable GIMP and store them on the same flash drive.

I see that this now has IM client, a full anti-virus (ClamWin), and more.

(Full disclosure: I do not know or own Mozilla Org)

Thanks for recommending this in the banking thread.

I'm siting at a strange computer (and it's very strange: vista ), enjoying my usual Firefox environment, with all my bookmarks that are the signposts of my online life.

I'm also happily connecting to my mail with Thunderbird.

It's a good product. product? well a good packaging maybe!

But its good, for sure

Here's another one that I've not tried but is out there. Costs around US$50.00.
