Plug Adapters in India

Hi guys, new on this forum, i just bought my plane ticket today and i'm really excited, going to india on january 19th next year... I was wondering if i could easily get some kind of universal plug adapter for my camera and ipod?? If you know somewhere in delhi where i can get it, i'd be happy to get the directions of that particular shop, is it expensive? and also, is it advisable to buy some kind of protection thing for my electronics, i wouldn't like them to break during my trip cos of all the issues about electricity in india that ive heard...
Thanx a lot guys for your help!!!

once in Delhi head towards Palika Bazaar (in Cannought Place), Gaffar Market (Karol Bagh), Lajpat Rai Market (Chandni Chowk) OR Nehru Place Market, you will easily find allyou need..

about the issued with electricity, we use all the gadgets that you might..without much trouble...ipods, handycams, mobile phones..all...

It wont be expensive..a very good one would be a couple of hundred bucks to the max...
