a handycam is the best possible solution.

though the cam you have isn't actually made to record 'good quality ' movie, but the answer of your question depends on a lot of factors; first of them is whats your intended aim of the video? you just want to make it for fun or do you have any other ideas in your mind. are you riding alone? do you have equipment to mount the cam to your bike? etc. etc.
check out thispage. all the videos on this page are made on a digicam only. but that guy is amazingly creative and innovative and daring when it comes to shooting videos while riding. see the prime example here

Haven't yet come across one in India, though you can make your own camera mount.
g. vasanth no problem with making the movie, though frankly speaking, it would only be good for web use. |

making a riding movie
actually, the purpose of making this movie is more because of my dream to make one. there would definitely be a fun element as well. am not riding alone but with 4 other people. i don't think i can afford a handycam (purely from cost perspective) so i pretty much don't have a choice but to use my digicam..
i know a digicam can be of good use to make short sequences and i feel that should suffice. i was wanting to know if we have any equipment with which we can mount the camera on the handle bar.. |
