Laptop Repair in Delhi

I'm in Australia now but will be in Delhi in 3 weeks. My laptop needs work that can be delayed until then. Can anyone suggest a reilable repair facility for a laptop?

your best bet is to check if your manufacturer has authorized repair centers in India. there are a lot of quacks in India.

I expect to find quacks just about everywhere. But surely, there must be competant and sincere independent service people someplace in Delhi.

Nehru Place in South Delhi is the hub for computer sales and services and has a number of shops that specialize in laptop servicing and repair. I havent personally availed the services of any so cannot recommend anyone specifically but in Delhi if they cant fix it here, they cant fix it anywhere.

You see guys sitting in the pavement, working with hammers and home-made chisels on laptops....

Seriously: if it is a big make it is likely that there is a service centre in the major cities.

I was reading your earlier thread. Entertaining. Am I right in thinking you want to delay fixing it until you find a place to get it done cheaply, even though you're adamant about not trusting them to begin with? Why the "delay"?
