Spain would be 00 34 (I'm guessing by your given location!)
Google country codes- a number of websites list them all. Don't forget to remove the 0 from the local code, e.g. 01234 56789 becomes 00 34 1234 56789.

+12121234567 is US New york +44 is UK +91 is India |

From cellphone or landline, both
call 00 + (country code) + area code + telephone number so a call to the us phone number (123) 456 7890 is 0011234567890 (the first 1 being the country code for the US) |

And, if you are dialing a mobile /cell phone, you must use the + symbol and, drop the leading 0 from the phone number you want to contact.
So, in this case, if the number in the country of origin is 0419-123-456, you would dial +419-123-456. Cheers Zoltan

Umm, if you dial 00, there is no need to use the plus sign.
If using the plus, it becomes a substitute for 00 |

![]() I still find it ridiculously complex dialing another cell phone within Chennai... one [sometimes?] has to use the international code even though one is here already! ![]()
