help with laptop power converter and internet connection
I will be carrying my laptop while visiting kolkata, the question is should i buy the power converter in kolkata and for a short term (1 month) internet connection what should I do ?
Will be staying in relative's home without internet connection Mod Note: This query has been moved to a more appropriate Forum where hopefully it will receive attention. |

power adapters such as what laptops use are rated for a wide input range. if your existing adapter is labeled something like input: 110V - 220/240V then youre all set. all you will need is a pin adapter which you can pick up very easily for around 50 rupees.
net connection - do you happen to have a quad band gsm phone with support for edge connectivity? if yes just take a prepaid sim, activate the edge service and viola.. if not just pick up any of the gsm/cdma based usb dongles for an internet connection... search around. there are several threads which discuss the same topic... |
