I have found this site pretty useful for its mobile phone price list. If you click the phones the site gives you the basic specs though you should preferably read more detailed reviews before buying.

Shashank - I'm now in Delhi and can't remember which thread you answered re mobile phone GPRS Airtel working out of state SIM card (or was it Dilliwalla??) Anyway, here's the proof - yes it does. No matter where SIM is bought it works all over India!

Yes, it's good news all round! When I renewed my month's subscription (395 rupees) they told me it is all over India available and I don't need to change my Rajasthan SIM card for this. And no extra charges for out of State either i.e. like roaming charges.
