Greetings Everyone,
I'm in the process of purchasing a new Frost-Free refrigerator and have narrowed down to Samsung RT24YBMS, Samsung RT29YBMS and LGs GL-258VA4. I find both Samsung and LG to be reasonable reliable brands and thus, the confusion. I would appreciate if anyone can help me zero in on a particular product. Any other product in the same price range (around 15K to 17K) is also welcomed.. Regards, Abhijit |

I have the Samsung one. My friend has LG. Neither of them gave any problems so far. You may want to look at the freezer/vegetable tray sizes and the split to ensure that it support your needs. Also, ensure that the fridge has a better BES score/rating so that you can save some money on electricity.

Dear Abhijit,
As far as the qulity of the product is concern both the brands are equal but I have a very good after sales service experience from LG. They actually keep reminding you regarding the service and provide reasonabily good amount of after sales service. Although samsung and LG products are very durable, but still parts of LG is little cheaper than Samsung. So I would suggest LG. |

Excellent point , if you cant decide otherwise , take one for the environment..
