Electricity
Hi y'all,
This is a simple question, but here goes: Do I need a power converter/adapter for electrical appliances that use 220V (2 round-ended points on the plug)? India is 230-240V, right?
I am leaving for India in three days and am getting quite giddy...

you should be fine both for voltage and for style of plug. Although there appear to be two different 2 pin standards, most sockets will accept either -- if not, an inexpensive adapter should be available locally.
have a great trip!

Thanks -m2-
The last time I was in India was 7 years ago and I simply couldn't remember if I had any electrical appliances with me back then, and if I did, how they worked!
(I do remember the outages though...)
