Camera & Lens Help
I am planning on carrying my Nikon D100, Nikon 24-120mm VR Lens (f3.5), & a 2 GB Lexar CF card. Is it worth also carrying a 37-70 lower aperture lens (2.8). I take all my photographs outdoors in daylight conditions so I'm not sure if I should lug this along.
I also have the option of ditching the above and carrying my Nikon 5400 compact camera instead. What do you guys/ladies think? Thanks Bill

how much do you want to be photographing and how much enjoying, relaxing? if you are already asking this then it seems you shouldnt be lugging stuff. perhaps just take the D100 with one lens (they are both already telephoto). not sure what the lexar card is (still using fully manual, FM2) but if its only 'in case' of something then i say ditch it. the compact always worth it in my opinion though i only take the FM2 when i travel. if you are serious about your photos, ie you want to publish, exhibit or present, then take the D100 - an awesome bit of kit - but if not, and its only for your memory sake, then just the compact.
