American Electric Converter

5 days in my trip (AMAZING!!!)

and we are in Udaipur. My batterie for camra ran out and I can't find a place that has a converter or adapter for american plug. We are heading to Jaiselmier tomorrow night, and then doing a camel safari. I need to recharge my batterie as soon as possible. Does anyone know where to get an adapter in Udaipur or Jaiselmer? Any info would be DEEPLY appreciated. Thanks!

you can try in any shop selling computer hardware , peripherals etc, as they keep such plugs, i am sure

i dont know whether you wld find the exact adapter for your camera. But theres this website: http://www.udaipurplus.com/plus_special/buss_list.htm ..check out the stores under Computers.....maybe you will get what you are looking for. Good Luck

Thankyou all very much for the replies, that was very nice. A friend, from one of the stores that has everything, from bus tickets to laundry detergent to film, is looking around town for me for a converter. I will look into your suggestions.
I will say that maybe my camera died on me for a reason--"to enjoy india with my eyes than through the camera lens!" Thanks again and happy travels to all!
