Airtel purchase problem in Delhi
I asked at both the Nokia store and the Airtel office today about prepaid SIMs and GPRS data access and the response from both was that I must have a local address. Apparently the rules have changed. Has anyone recently (like the past couple of weeks) bought a SIM with the GPRS data package and can you confirm if the data included is still unlimited and pay per month?

Can't help you with the SIM since I bought mine last winter but for GPRS you don't really need any data package, just sms gprsact to 511 and airtel will activate it within 4 hours and charge you Rs15 a day until you deactivate it.
