Which Airlines offer Open-Jaw flights from Oz to India?
Just wondering if anyone can tell me which airlines offer Open-Jaw flights from Australia to India? I'm wanting to fly into Kolkata and then out of Mumbai or Chennai in March next year.

I flew into Delhi out of Mumbai with Malaysian Airlines but I'm sure most airline will allow this!

is tiger airways over that way yet? at the moment that fly from perth and darwin to chennai and possibly other parts of india by now. i read somewhere about tiger doing flights in other parts of oz but that may be future plans. sorry to be so vague but i have only been concentrating on the perth/chennai connection, but they are great value if you go with them. bit squishy for the legs though!

Use Malaysian - only disadvantage is having to spend a few hours on the ground at Kuala Lumpur - which is really no hardship, because it's an excellent airport; nearly as good as Singapore.

I flew tiger airways to Singapore last year, in and out of Cochin for about 6000 rupees.
Seems they now fly only to Chennai and Bangalore in India. Darwin and Perth are their main hubs in Australia but their route map shows connecting flights to most other cities. http://www.tigerairways.com/flight_i...nation_map.php Try Airninja for other possibilities via Bangkok etc. http://www.airninja.com/ You will have to make a change somewhere in SE Asia. |

This thread is almost three years old.
I think it's safe to say that the OP no longer has any need of suggestions. |

Oops didn't spot that.
Hopefully the later posts are useful to others, always good to have more up to date information. I guess the thread got revived when someone searched the site for similar threads? It would also be helpful and interesting if original posters replied after their trip to say what happened / how they got where they were going / whether they stuck to their itinerary etc. |
