Which Airlines is better?
Hi,
I am just looking for some reliable advice on my next flight trip. I was looking some of the websites on booking and was not sure about which one was more regular. I am not a regular one, usually my office ppl book my tickets and this time it is my own and need a cheap one though . Price is kind of almost same just 100-150 Rs diff, which one is more reliable out of all these 4 of them (Indigo, Jetlite, SpiceJet, GoAir)I need a airline which is more prompt and regular. Since my flight is in the early morning, I am hoping the cancellation chances will be less I checked with Jey and Kingfisher and different is now almost 3000 Rs./ticket Regards, Rajiv |

In my opinion, Spicejet is best in all budget airlines....

Actually, I've found that it depends on which airport you're flying out of - SpiceJet is pretty good when you fly out of Delhi whereas when flying out of Bangalore and Mumbai I've found Indigo better.
My experiences with Jetlite have been horrific - have experienced huge delays, the airline has cancelled flights at the last moment, so would not recommend it to anyone. |

I would go for Indigo, followed by Spicejet, Goair and Jetlite, in that order. Which sector are you flying? if you get a good deal, go for Kingfisher Airlines.

I agree. Often people overlook the full service carriers (Indian, Jet, Kingfisher) even though they are sometimes only a few hundred rupees more than the budgets. I've especially noticed this on major routes (BOM-DEL, etc.).

It is amazing that you expect an answer without telling us the two airports for the flight ! Cheers Nattusbs |

Why is this an amazing request? The airports you are flying between rarely impact the quality of the flight itself. In my experience, flying Air India out of Changi Airport in Singapore (one of the best in the world) was much less enjoyable than flying Singapore Airlines out of Bombay. How airlines deal with suboptimal realities on the ground speaks to their overall quality. Kingfisher handles the mess at Delhi and Bombay admirably well when compared to Jetlite or Indian.

Sorry about this, its an overlook from my sideI am travelling from BLR to Delhi through flight and from there on I am on a week trek to Himalayas. Flying out of BLR on early morning flight and returning from Delhi on a late night flight Hence need no cancellation for BLr flight as my further travel from Delhi is scheduled for noon. Returning around evening to Delhi a week later and prefer an On-time flight for Delhi flight. Regards, Rajiv |

But I checked on the price for Blr-Delhi sector and prices are almost double, I need 3 tickets hence cost is coming around 24 K, slightly overpriced for a 6 weeks later travel (Around 1st week of June) |

I saw Jetlite their price and timing is OK, but hearing out load and clear on their service let me not go that route at all. |

. But fortunately no flight in India is so long as to really make travel on a budget airline terribly painful. The main concern with the cheapies is scheduling, and with either Spicejet or Indigo you should be fine.Cheers. |
