Unable to book a flight on Air India Express website

Tried booking a fight on the website of Air India Express, a subsidiary airline of Air India.
I'm able to search for a flight and make my choice, but then the system fails to proceed any further.
This is the stage I've reached thus far, but not any further:

How do I book my ticket?

I called up their office and the lady said they can book my ticket and mail it to me, if I give my credit card number as well as CVV. How can I give CVV to a stranger just like that? Is it safe to do that?

You called up a Authorized booking office or Indian Airlines / Air India. Dont worry. They are not going to do anything with your CVV number.

They cant buy anything online becasue there is one more security check called online purchase code number.

So, Physically they cant buy anything using your number as they require the card and in online also no one can misuse the card.

Go ahead and give the numbers to them. I have done several bookings like that. No issues.
