Transfer time from Domestic to Inter' Airport in Delhi

Hi,
We have booked a Jet lite flight:
Departs Mumbai 07.20 - Arrives Delhi 09.20

then connecting at International:

Departs Delhi 12.00 - Arrives Kathmandu 13.45

Have we left ourselves enough time to get from the domestic airport to the International airport???

Just read a post that it took someone 3 hrs????? Is it best to get a taxi instead of using the shuttle?
If we havent left enough time can we change the tickets?

Thanks for any help.

Taxi is around an hour, however, you might spend more time getting through security, so in total it could easily be 3 hours

This is a jet-lite flight from BOM-KTM, in the same PNR and same airline ? If the answer is yes; then double check with the airline if it is a legal connection time for them. If so, it is they responsibility to ensure you are taken care of otherwise.....

The distance is about 4-5 kms between the airports and maximum 20 minutes by road. Please note that there are no traffic signals between the two airports and the road consists of a series of flyovers and is part of an expressway. At 8 am it should be a breeze.

Would the last time you took this road be before the flyovers and the expressway were built ? ie; a year ago . There were lots of traffic signals and bottlenecks before on this route.

re flight to Dehli - Kathmandu

We bought the ticket on the Jetlite internet site and it was a connecting flight, so we will contact them when we arrive in Mumbai in September and i suppose its up to them that we get the connecting flight.

It was in 2007 and the traffic was massive even though it was late. Around midnight i think

Unless you are on the same airline for both the legs, u r running it too close.

Luggage takes upward of 30 mins to come out in Delhi airport. And then atleast an hour to reach the international terminal.

If u r in the same airline, u might just be ok.

All the best

four hours between flights enough?

Would four hours be enough?
We arrive from London on BA at 130AM and then want to fly on Jet Airways to Udaipur at 545AM. This would be in January 2010 if that makes a difference.
Thanks. new to IndiaMike so any help would be appreciated.
