| Switching domestic airlines--Mumbai I am hoping to fly from Varanasi to Cochin on February 14, and it seems that the only way to do this is to switch airlines in Mumbai from Air India to Jet. Is 1 hour, 40 minutes enough time for this transfer, or should I make other arrangements? Many thanks for your help. |

| The time is enough, if Air India lands at the domestic terminal more or less on time.

| The Air India flight will arrive at Domestic 1A while the Jet airways flight will depart from Domestic 1B. It is about 10 mins walk between the terminal if you just travel with a backpack, will take more time if extra luggage. Please confirm with the airlines staff if they can drop you at the Domestic 1B if you are not having any checked-in luggage. Generally speaking 1 hour 40 mins is good enough on most days and fingers crossed your should also make it. Just remember not to confuse yourself with things there, arrivals are quite sleek and fast. Talk to the staff right away if stuck. |
