spicejet

Hi,
has anybode some experience with "Spicejet"? We planning a trip to north India in summer and want to fly from Dehli to Srinagar with this airline. We want to book the flight in advance in Europe. Is that working?

Thank you for your help

Thumbs up

Hi! I have myself travelled with spicejet twice and found their service pretty decent. Never took the delhi-srinagar flight though.

Same thing for me. Excellent service. I'd take them again anytime. For me they are the best of the low-cost carriers, for all I know. (Just avoid Indian Airlines by all means).

No problems - its a low cost air carrier, you would get good fares at present.
can be a bit late.....as it happens in india.....but as such no problems.......

Thumbs up Flew Spicejets Cochin to Mumbai March 2009

I would be happy to fly with Spicejets, I flew with them from Cochin to Mumbai in March 2009. Although, they did change their flight time to two hours earlier shortly before the flight. But they were happy to change my flight to the previous day without charge. So just keep a check on shedule changes.

one advice, dont book too soon or too late... the prices are cheapest just before one month or so.

have flown them a few times.....were always late except once when on a Mumbai - Delhi flight...

Last travel on this carrier was about a year ago , so hopefully things have changed for the better...

i dont care much for on - board facilities on short haul , 2 hour flights... give me a seat , a bottle of water , a good fare...and keep me in the air.

Go for it. It's best amongst Budget Airlines in India.

Thank you all for the information. I will wait booking Dehli-Srinagar until after the elections, to be sure that Srinagar is safe to go!

I've flown with them 4 times in the last 8 months. Always on time. Very basic service but the flights are short so a bottle of water and a newspaper is all you need.
