southall travel issued ticket to my wife as MR!!!

the southall booking engine defaults to calling everybody MR. other booking engines insist in filling in the gender and only then issue tickets.
did anybody have this experience ?
needless to say southall travel does not answer. i tried every way of communicating with them.
it is a lufthansa ticket.one more thing, one is obliged to reconfirm flight 72 hrs before, otherwise they cancel the ticket ?? is that just bluff ?
of course they do not say, where to phone, to reconfirm.

I don't think there will be any problem, even if they issued the ticket as Mr. How will that matter? I had my name distorted in several ways on tickets, and nobody complained, as long as it's still recognizably the same. So don't worry about that.

As about reconfirming, that is for your own reassurance. They will not cancel after you paid, there is no way that they can do that. If you haven't paid for it yet, then they will cancel it, yes.

It used to be necessary to reconfirm your return trip: if you didn't the airline could sell it to someone else. That doesn't seem to happen now, at least not on the BA flights that I take.
