Safest Domestic Airline

I have a bit of a fear of flying and these small airlines scare me!!!!
Just wondered which domestic airline has the newest fleet/good safety etc?
Been looking at flights with Kingfisher.
Thank you.

I prefer Kingfisher to Jet Airways. Never understood the craze about Jet Airways. But then if they have a more convenient schedule I'll choose Jet Airways.

As for budget airlines Spicejet is always my first choice.
Then Indigo
Jetlite
I wish we had comparable budget airlines in Europe.

I don't really know about any airline that has a questionable safety record.
Must be awful to have a fear of flying.
I am much more scared in cars particulary on Indian roads.

The good news is that all the airlines have excellent safety records, so you will need to choose your airline for other reasons.

If you are nervous about flying, I cannot think of a better experience for you than the flights we've had with Kingfisher. The flight attendants have proved helpful, and I've heard them reassuring worried first time passengers. There is quite a lot of legroom on their planes and food is included and of good quality even on short flights.
