Reservations are killing me inside.

I'm dying here. I apologize now for posting a train question on top of my plane one here... But the problems are similar. I will repost there if people recommend that. I was trying to book the following last night:

A) flight from Chennai to Delhi
B) train from Agra to Mumbai
C) train from Mumbai to Goa

The airline my mates and I picked (Indigo) won't take my credit card online or over the phone b/c its "International." They referred me to another website, Yattra, that should have worked, but there I had to be an Indian resident or have an Indian Shipping address for my tickets? Do you have any idea of a way to get around this stuff? The woman I spoke to on the phone suggested putting a 24 hr hold on the ticket at the airport... but that's not much help, because I need to pick it up in 24 hrs from when I place the hold... I'm in Japan.

The trains were similar, I tried to book an e-ticket through IRCTC, but it said (I think. The English was a tad rough) that I could not buy a wait listed eticket? It's over a month ahead of time! The i-ticket I needed to be an Indian Resident to purchase too!

Ideas? I know there were some recommendations for airlines to book domestic flights from outside India, but their prices were not quite what I had been looking for. Any help would really be appreciated.

You don't have to be an indian resident to buy i-ticket, just to give an Indian address for delivery.

Many people have the ticket sent to a hotel to await them.

Good luck with it.
