Quick question - Which is better? Spice or Indigo

I need to make a quick decision between Spicejet and Indigo between Chennai and Hyderabad.

The prices are same. Time...20 minutes difference between the respective flights and hence not much of a concern for me.

Which one has
1. Better on-time record
2. Better check-in
3. Better seating (read leg space)

For now, Spice has a slight edge as I can choose my seat on their web site.

Still...would appreciate some opinions out of experience.

My experience with both are almost similar. New fleet, same type of aircraft (therefore not much difference in leg space). Young crew and stuff generally serious about time and service. Even fares quite similar.

Both are a notch better than other budget careers.

The only notable difference I found is already in your mail, Spicejet site offers seat selection.
