I’ve flown with both Air Deccan and Ryan Air and I would say it’s a Very similar experience. If all goes well it’s OK, any problems you’re on your own, which can mean being completely stuck somewhere.
I wouldn’t choose either if I definitely had to be somewhere for a certain time (or even day), but otherwise they are very much cheaper then the full service airlines. “You pays your money and you takes your choice”. |

Wouldn't try the cheapies if dependent on connections. But my friend had Deccan from Kolkata to Port Blair. No problems. I took Go from Chennai to Delhi. Low on food, but otherwise smooth.
