Planes to Pakistan

Next year we are planning a trip to Pakistan from UK. We are of course trying to find the cheapest flights. At the moment it seems to be Emirates via Dubai at a cost of approx £550 ( thats British pounds). Does any one know of a cheaper route perhaps using a carrier from Central Asia - Uzbek Airways etc or even Aeroflot.

The cheapest I could find with a quick look was £449 with Qatar Airways from Manchester to Islamabad. That price is for December 2003 so you may get cheaper for next year.

Thomas Cook's UK website is quite good for quick flight comparisons. I found LHR to Islamabad for £520 with Emirates and a direct flight (BA 129) with good travel times with British Airways for £550.

You may want to consider where in the country you are going from and to. Remember Emirates fly from Manchester if you are based in the north.

If you are going in a good few months time you will get cheaper still. You can fly with Qatar Airways from LHR to Karachi for £381 based on outward flight between April and July. Is that any good?

If you say where you want to fly from and to and when you want to go someone else may be able to help you more.

I am sorry I couldn't see any quotes from less popular airlines with just a quick search.
