im not sure about staying overnight in mumbai airport... ive never been through it, but if you do decide to go for a hotel - hotel beach garden on juhu beach is not very far away (maybe 20-30mins in taxi) and costs 3000 per room per night - very good service there too.

Much of what I know of hotels nearby are international chains. However have you tried booking via makemytrip.com or lm.hotelclub.net ?

Depends on your vacation time
If your vacation is longer, then be adventurous. Go to a good restaurant and have a good dinner. And then go back to airport and stay in the lounge. Have coffee/ chai until 3.30 and then it is time to check in.
If your vacation is short. Dont stress. Go and take a hotel near by airport. ![]() |

.
. As soon as you arrive at Mumbai go to the Jet Airways counter and tell them that you are going to stay at the airport for a very early morning flight. They usually give a lounge pass. The lounge is huge and is very comfortable to rest and sleep. It also has a bar and free snacks and soft drinks, including coffee and tea. I have seen showers too. You don't need to have a business class ticket to get in here. Talk nicely to the Jet Airways staff and they usually accommodate. The lounge gets very busy from 4AM onwards with business passengers. This is when you get hot breakfasts. The first drink at the bar is free at night. They also announce Jet flight departures inside the lounge. |
