| non-residents vs locals for air travel Hello, I am a US citizen of Indian origin. In the past my family in India has always booked my internal flights within in India for me. This January, I am traveling with my husband, who is not of Indian origin and am wondering if it would be better to go ahead and get the flights as non-residents through the internet. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is there typically a price difference, if so how much? Or do the airlines allow different amounts of luggage depending on how you book your ticket? Also, I'm mainly wondering if my husband will run into trouble if his ticket is purchased as a resident when he is obviously not. thanks, Shweta |

| I'm not certain about this but I think our travel agent said the rates on internal flights are the same now. ![]()

| There was a recent and hopeful report here that national discounts were now extended to foreigners as well if that's what you mean.
