Mumbai airport terminal admitance time

Booked on a 6.00 a.m domestic flight from Mumbai Airport. Will be coming from Bandra 20 kms away. How many hours before departure at Mumbai Airport can you enter the domestic terminal. The reason is that I need to meet and join a family member coming from New York who is booked on the same domestic flight out of Mumbai.

Don't know about Mumbai in particular, but the rule in Indian airports is usually no admittance until four to five hours before your flight departure.

A few years ago I stayed overnight for a couple of hours at the domestic airport at Mumbai. Landed at Mumbai too late to go to the friend's home. So stayed at the airport till it was time to catch the first flight to Goa next morning.

It is 3 hrs before the departure time of the flight.
