Mumbai airport

According to my plan I'm landing at Mumbai international airport 03:45am this Sunday. I have tickets from Mumbai to Goa on a plane leaving 05:25am.
So my question is: Is it far between the international and the domestic terminal?

No, it's not far. You do not have to go out of the International Airport - there is a bus which will take you round the perimeter track to the Domestic Airport, it takes about 20 minutes in all.

Yes, I think you will make it - but don't leave the International Airport , make sure you get the internal bus service. Also, tell people in the queue in front of you at Passport Control that you need to hurry to catch another plane - it might even help if you told the steward/ess, they may be able to help you.

Yes you will make it, just see that you exchange some money and have small change for the bus to take you to the domestic airport.

I don't have time to exchange money before I leave. Rupees have to be ordered to the bank.

There is an exchange booth that will be open at the airport when you arrive. You will be able to exchange a small amount of money reasonably quickly. Just enough for taxis, snacks, buse etc. will keep you going until you get to Goa.

As for the plane staff, they may be able to help you fast-track through to help you catch your connection. Asking them will cost you nothing!

Is there an ATM machine so I can withdraw instead of exchange?
I'll ask the plane staff! Thanks!

If your arriving flight is late by even 30 minutes you will miss your connecting flight to Goa. Another thing to keep in mind is that the luggage at Mumbai airport can take quite awhile to come onto the conveyor and if your bag was one of the first ones loaded on the aircraft then it is going to be the last one to come onto the conveyor.

As a general tip always keep a minimum gap of at least 2 hours between flights. Too many things can go wrong otherwise.

I can't remember if there is an ATM machine, but anyway, you will need small change for buses etc and you won't get that from a machine.

Goancanuck is right, of course, but unless you can change your ticket to Goa before you set off, you might as well try to make the best of things and at least attempt to catch you plane.

Good Luck

Our bags will not be the first ones loaded. They are probably thrown in as we are taxing. Very short time in Frankfurth as well.
