Has anyone any experience of using this website? It looks quite good - and linked to by the Indian Tourist Office website in the UK
.Also, is it fairly standard to make full payment when booking online? not something I've come across when booking before but most websites seem to be requesting this.... ![]() |

I have used this website to buy my ticket from NYC-DUBAI-NEW DELHI-Toronto.
Overall all a good expreeince except that they sent my ticket to the wrong mailing address in the US but then they sorted that out. I am an Indian based in Canada, and used my Indian credit card to pay them. I initially had reservations about doing this but it worked fine. I belong to New Delhi and this company is defiantely doing a good job and is trustworthy. Hope this helps, Rohan |

I have used them for my air tickets and found them very good. I don't think they do air from the UK though and only for the U.S. and Australia. Overall my personal experience with them was excellent and I liked the fact that they followed through with emails reminding you when you flight was and when it was departing. Plus I got like a nice mousepad shippped all the way from Delhi to my house.
Freebies like that are nice touch. ![]() For air tickets the best suggestion is search, search, and search on their site for the best value on air tickets. They vary so much from day to day. Overall for air tickets I give them a thumbs up I haven't used the tours though and can only say that for air tickets it was a good experience. Mike |

I booked a fare to India stressing I may need to return early. Once booked I became aware of a notation at bottom of intinerary that a $350 fee would apply to any change of date. The consultant had not told me this.

MakeMyTrip.com is now doing a Holi quiz until April 3 where you can win a return ticket to India.
If you take the quiz the answers are ----cough cough cough----- Spring Flame of the forest Gulal Bhang Bamboo again ----cough cough cough----- you didn't get the answer from me though. ![]() ...on a side note...I can't believe that I actually spent thirty minutes of my life on Google looking up facts about Holi to answer those questions |

Its not uncommon for websites selling air tickets to ask for the full fare in advance, www.travel.com.au do it too.

Another good site is Airgorilla.com. They seem to have better fares than makemytrip.com

[/quote]I have not actually used it but I do use the site to determine how good of a deal I'm getting from my personal travel agent. I usually save another $100 off of the airgorilla.com prices. For example, last summer I flew from Chicago to Delhi on KLM coach for $1024 including tax. Not a bad deal if you ask me. They were offering AirIndia below $1000 at the time as well. Also their biggest selling point was that they accept credit cards without any additional surcharge. Here's there info if you want to get a qoute UNIGLOBE CENTER TRAVEL 1-312-726-0088 Hope this helps ![]() |
