Last-minute airfares

I am being considered for an emergency trip to Delhi. My mission, assuming I'm able to pull this together, will be to track down some missing video tapes that are crucial to a documentary my boss is producing. Our grant money at the moment is about nil.

If I can find a bargain of an air fare there's a 2-4 week trip to India which includes being able to afford a root canal I badly need and a totally unexpected bonus of attending the wedding of a friend who is getting married in Delhi on the 15th (I have already been formally invited). I have several wedding-worthy saris ready to go. The friend just happens to be getting married in the very same suburb that our Delhi contact lives in (where I'd be staying). I could fly out of LAX and leave at any time that will get me there in time for the wedding.

Which websites should I be frantically searching for airfare deals?

Darn! The trip was rescheduled for the fall. Not as fortuitous, perhaps, but considering I had no plans to be in India at all this year, it's still exciting! I did find fares as low as US$1000, which seems pretty reasonable considering the short notice. Also, my boss is going to give me a small advance so I can get the root canal done here (we happen to have the same dentist). All's well that ends well.

The missing tapes are still an emergency but he decided to assign the task to someone already in Delhi.
